Advice to users of Trelleborg food hoses
Before you start using your Trelleborg food hose
Before rst use, you should proceed as follows:
 Fill hose with hot water (+ 70°C to + 80°C),
 keep water inside for minimum 12 hours,
 then, clean hose using any of the following cleaning processes.
Every cleaning cycle must be immediately followed by a complete rinse
Storage:
Keep away from (sun) light and heat.
Only use pierced plugs when needed.
Stagnation:
With ALCODIAL only.
Do not use high pressure cleaning systems to wash inside the hose.

Hygiene
You can be condent that Trelleborg’s hoses and
assemblies are designed and manufactured with
hygiene in mind.
The smooth extruded innertube resists the most common
cleaning operations in your industry. Combined with
our specially designed coupling system, no bacterial
growth is possible on your hose assembly.
The rubber material and all the other ingredients used
in our food grade compounds have been selected to
comply with the most stringent requirements for
foodstuff contact. Both compounds and nished hose
are compliant with applicable legislation (European
regulations 1935/2004 and 2023/2006 ; France ;
Germany: BfR recommendation XXI. ; USA: FDA - 21 CFR
177.2600 and 21 CFR 177.1520 for ALCODIAL) and
contain no phthalate nor Bisphenol A.
Our covers (either red or blue) are non marking, keeping
your oors clean.
Reliability and safety
Rubber material is both exible and robust.
Our hoses can therefore absorb hammer-shocks, swift
temperature changes have no effect on their behaviour and they
will keep exible even at low temperatures with same pressure
resistance.
Our specic swaged-on coupling systems are compatible with
most commonly used ttings. Our latest development on rubber
coated nuts will prevent burns and guarantee optimal tightening
by hand.
